This envelope contains 4 views of early modes of transportation in Boulder, Colo. Two views are of the Boulder Fire Department hose truck, with two horses in harness and 3 men in uniform, in front of the Samuel C. Brown residence at 1107 Maxwell Avenue. The third view shows a man driving a buggy pulled by two horses, also in front of 1107 Maxwell Ave. The fourth photo shows a woman driving an early motorcar, ca. 1903-1904, on a dirt road; the auto has acetylene head lamps.
